Kate Meyer is a mezzo-soprano singing actor in NYC. Meyer is an energetic performer fueled by her love and drive for story telling. Her dramatic clarity breathes genuine humanity into every character she portrays. Meyer offers up a purity of emotion which transcends through her striking, colorful, mezzo-soprano tone. Roles Meyer has played include Orpheus, Cherubino, Bradamante, Die Dritte Dame, Mrs. Segstrom from A Little Night Music, and Chlo from the musical, Inside Out. Being a crossover artist, Meyer enjoys singing music ranging from baroque opera to musical theater to rock.

Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Kate found her passion for acting later in life. Playing the trombone and tuba since 5th grade, Meyer started her vocal journey while attending Montana State University Billings. There, Meyer earned her BA, double majoring in Vocal Performance and Communication Arts.

Meyer then went on to earn her Master’s in Music from University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2019. Coming out of the pandemic, Meyer moved to New York City in 2021.

When not singing, Kate’s hobbies include camera operating for her church, learning different styles of dance, playing the banjo, and repurposing thrifted clothes.
